MBA RANKINGS SURVEY
There are a lot of different MBA rankings out there. But as we speak with hundreds of MBA hopefuls each year, we find that popular rankings don't always reflect the reality of how applicants — or the general public — view the schools, or which they'd attend over others.
In our view, rankings should reflect the voice of the people, plain and simple, free of complex methodologies and statistics that can be managed by admissions committees. (For more, please check out my blog post, "MBA Rankings: Rediscovering the Voice of the People.")
Avanti Prep's inaugural MBA rankings survey aims to do just that. The first half simply asks you to rank MBA programs. After that, there are a series of questions related to your familiarity with MBA programs, profession, education, location, and so forth. These questions help identify patterns and trends in the rankings, and several are optional. The survey should take approximately 10 minutes to complete.
As of right now, this is little more than a fun experiment, driven by you. This first version of the survey focuses on U.S. schools, but everyone in the world is encouraged to participate, whether you're applying for an MBA, already have one, or never want anything to do with one.
So have fun and feel free to pass the link along!
